The still life appears in "Torso with Flowers" and the bowl with similar arrangement appears in the drawing "Mr. Barnstable Awakes" an illustration for "The Return to Life" (Mason 160), part of Bellows' 1923 "Men Like Gods" series.
A rare still life by the artist.
